What kind of transport do we use for private tours?

We work with comfortable cars and vans (Air-conditioned, panoramic windows, wide trunk for luggage, easy step-in and out, polite and helpful drivers, etc.) according to the size of your party. All registered operators meeting the legal (insurance) and technical requirements for the transport of passengers.

What do our tour prices include?

Our tour prices include all related expenses (parking, toll taxes and driver lunch allowance, etc.)  The tour does not include any entrance fees (unless specified), reservation fees, headset rentals, food and beverages.

Can you bypass the lines or buy tickets in advance?

Please consult any specific site and we can try to arrange.

Do we use a tape recorder on the tours?

No, we always use professional, knowledgeable local driver-guides who know the all about Barcelona.

How many people are in your group tours?

We limit our group tours to no more than 7 people in total for an enjoyable experience for all clients.

Can you share a tour with another group?

If you are a small party you might be consulted about sharing a tour with another small party and enjoy the better rates. It is according to availability and if costumers are willing to do it.

How good is the English level of our guides?

All our driver-guides on the tours with English speaking groups have high level of English and you will have no problems understanding.

Is it possible to make individual changes to the tours?

Yes, you can have influence on how the tour is organized. We often make offer custom made tours or adapt a tour to a group’s needs. Since we only work with private groups we are able to make changes to the route and duration of the tour. We think that our client’s opinion is very important and if the group has any special wishes we do our best to fulfill them.

Can your driver-guide meet you at your hotel for the private tours?

Our private tours start and end at the place of your choice in Barcelona, i.e. your hotel, a restaurant, airport, pier, train station, etc. Extra charges for sites out of town (according to distance) might incur.

Will you get out of the car to see places of historic importance, take photos etc...?

Yes! Your driver-guide stops at places of historic importance as well as shows you the city panoramically.

Can you extend you tour?

Yes, subject to availability (in high season, please let us know if you might extend in advance). Simply tell your driver-guide.

Can you provide wheelchairs or strollers? What do you suggest for those with difficulty walking in our group?

We have taken many clients on tour who use wheelchairs, but we do not provide those. We are happy to pace and shape your private tour according to your needs. If there is someone in your party with difficulties staying on their feet for long periods of time, your guide will gladly stop and take breaks as needed. Please inform us of anything you feel we should know of to better plan your personalized itinerary.

What happens if a site is unexpectedly closed on the day of scheduled tour?

Occasionally, some sites will close or change opening hours without warning or advance notice. While we regret these inconveniences, we are not responsible for them. We do our best to stay up-to-date with closings at all sites. Sometimes but not often, they will close without notice. In these rare cases, your guide will modify the itinerary and give you as complete a tour as possible working with the circumstances given.

Is your driver-guide's gratuity included?

No. Gratuities are at your discretion. If you are happy with your driver-guide, a gratuity will be much appreciated.

Can we guarantee a client a particular driver-guide?

We will be happy note a request for a particular driver-guide for our private tours but cannot guarantee their availability.

How do you book the tour?

By e-mail:
1. Pick a tour of your choice or ask us for a customized tour. Please be specific! The more details you give us, the more accurate we can be!

2. Put your personals, the number of passenger on your party, the dates you are interested in reserving and details like:

  • Where do you want the tour to start and end.
  • Morning or afternoon hours.
  • Are you travelling with children and their ages?
  • Do you have any special needs?

Let us know if you are willing to pool with other customers and get a special rate (subjected to availability).

3. After you fill out the form, you’ll receive an answer with complete information within 24hrs. Also you’ll be requested to pay a small deposit to reserve the tour in case of confirmation.

4. Shortly after, you’ll receive the official booking confirmation. Please print this e-mail and show it to our driver at pick-up. The balance should be paid in cash to your driver on the day of the tour.

How do you pay?

As you prefer:

  • Credit Card or PayPal (taxes may apply) before the date of the tour
  • Deposit by credit card or PayPal (taxes may apply) and balance in cash Euros to the driver

Is your deposit refundable?

Our cancellation policy is customer-friendly:

     1. The cancellation of your reservation must be confirmed in writing

     2. No cancellation fee if you cancel with more than 72 hours notice. Your deposit will be returned

     3. We keep full deposit amount if you cancel within 72 hours

     4. Full payment will be charged if you fail to show up.

 

 

 

Bracelona Tours reserves the right to cancel your reservation. In case of cancellation by Bracelona, any amounts paid will be fully refundable.
